With the internet becoming an even bigger help to the radio program's cause, so did the influx of new music. With the program completely dedicated to the genre of progressive rock and all of its sub-genres, the stage was set for what became a Delaware Valley favorite that year featuring airplays at 88.9 WBZC on not just Saturday nights, but the Top 100 saw frequent replays overnight as well. The music of the final 100 discs featured on the Gagliarchives, aired on Programs 511 and 513 (11/29/97 to 12/13/97). Although this is the 'Top 100' of the year, there were over 1100 Progressive Rock related releases in the course of the year, and many genres are represented. This list was compiled through a year's worth of research from myself and the early collective of what we call the GPRN. A collective of contacts, vendors, reviewers, & contributors who helped build this list that eventually became so more dynamic with the advent of the internet, that these soon became the most anticipated programs of the year.
