This final one hundred albums were featured in our annual GlobalProgressive Rock Network's Top 100 that aired in two parts on Program 1987 & Program 1988 respectively (03/14/26 to 03/21/26). While we were not serviced with promotional material from many of the record labels & bands above, we still made it fair and accessible to our audience and we thank our listeners who contributed many of these great albums. Ensuring to play a track from every album voted on, that made the final one hundred most popular of that list, and most popular 100 albums regardless if we received the album or not from the record label/band/artist. 

A special thanks for the year 2025 Top 100 goes first & foremost to our editor/copy writer Louis Cornelius. We also thank the entire crew at North 13th Studios & Asylum Studios as well. Here are the Top 100 requirements for 2025:

• We do not include compilation albums and/or greatest hits sets
• We do not include box sets or archive releases.
• We do not include studio albums from prior to the last year unless released in the last month..

What did qualify this year were the following:

• Studio releases from late December of 2024 to the end of 2025.
• Live albums released within late December 2024 to the end of 2025.
• Tribute releases.
• By audience request, this year we also included EP releases.

We also must give a big thanks to our loyal online listeners & subscribers at Aural Moon, and House Of Prog Radio. Also a special thank you to those who contributed music when the artist and/or record label did not or would not, along with our subscribers to our Facebook, Twitch, Youtube, Instagram, and Twitter outlets. Another thanks has to go to all of those supporter donations, our colleagues & analysts who fall under the banner of the GPRN who were agenda-free and supported a fair & diverse list of music and suggestions that made 2025 another excellent year of music.
